Opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Conveyancing Department in our Bristol office.  

This is a full time post, and the ideal candidates will: 

  • have experience of working within commercial and/or residential conveyancing departments

Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive – Family Team

This vacancy, in a multi-office legal company with an excellent working culture and reputation, is for a qualified and experienced solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive, who has experience of a varied family law caseload and has 5 yrs + PQE.

You would join a family law team with excellent quality, privately funded work.  You would advise on divorce and separation, financial remedy and children work, as well as on cohabitation and pre and post nuptial agreements.  You will regularly be involved with high- net-worth family finance cases which can involve significant business assets, complex property structures, international elements and more specialist areas of matrimonial finance work.

You will be committed to providing an excellent client service, have a methodical approach to your work and a keen eye to detail, be organised, be able to work to deadlines and prioritise your work.  This role offers the potential to work towards longer term progression and growth if you are looking to develop your career.

Solicitor and/or Legal Executive – Private Client – Kingsbridge 

Due to the continuing growth of our Private Client department, we are looking for additional fee earners to join our experienced team.

This is a full time post and the ideal candidate will:

  • be able to demonstrate excellent client care skills;
  • be able to work harmoniously within the team;
  • be able to manage a varied caseload (to include the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work);
  • be enthusiastic and willing to engage in the business development of the department;
  • be able to demonstrate consistent fee earning; and
  • be STEP Qualified and have SFE membership – however, this is not essential and training is generally available for the right candidate.

Solicitor/Legal Executive – Dispute Resolution – South West

We have a great opportunity for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our growing Dispute Resolution Department working within one of our South West offices (Kingsbridge, Plymouth, Totnes, Bristol).

The ideal candidate will:

  • have experience of handling a property litigation caseload;
  • have experience of some or all of the following areas:
    • commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
    • disputes concerning easements/restrictive covenants including injunctive proceedings
    • boundary disputes
    • property damage claims
    • the Party Wall Act
    • contested leasehold renewals and enfranchisements
    • Contentious probate disputes
    • Construction disputes
  • enjoy networking and building client relationships;
  • share our enthusiasm for excellent client care;
  • be able to work under pressure and meet client expectations;
  • enjoy working as part of a professional and motivated team; and
  • have the enthusiasm to take an active role in the continued development of our Dispute Resolution Department.

Solicitor and/or Legal Executive – Commercial Property  – Kingsbridge/Totnes/Plymouth

Due to the continuing growth of our Commercial Property offering, we are looking for additional fee earners to join our experienced team.

This is a full time post and the ideal candidate will:

  • have at least 3+ years post qualification experience;
  • be able to demonstrate excellent client care skills;
  • be able to work harmoniously with the wider team;
  • be able to manage a varied commercial property caseload (a mixed commercial and residential caseload can also be considered);
  • be enthusiastic and willing to engage in the business development of the department and potentially the opportunity to establish a department of their own; and
  • be able to demonstrate consistent fee earning with limited supervision.
