South West law firm makes new appointments

Bartons Solicitors, a long established multi discipline law firm with four offices based in Devon and Bristol, has appointed two new Directors, Ian Spencer and Roseanna McNally, to further strengthen the team and manage ongoing growth.

Bartons’ chairman Raymond Hayes said, “We are delighted to appoint Ian and Roseanna to directorships within Bartons in recognition of their success, energy and enthusiasm helping clients both locally and much further afield in often complex and demanding situations.”

Ian Spencer is head of the Dispute Resolution department at Bartons’ head office in Kingsbridge. Having trained in large national practices Ian is an experienced litigator specialising in all aspects of property litigation including construction disputes and commercial litigation. Ian, along with all of Bartons’ revitalised Disputes department, has a client focused approach, where they work closely with the property departments to ensure clients receive cohesive commercial advice.

Her specialisms include complex property matters and acting for investors, SMEs and landowners on many bespoke projects across Devon and further afield. Roseanna’s excellent reputation, and that of the department, is built upon a pragmatic, efficient and commercial approach which is much valued by Bartons and clients alike.
