Tom Chesley

Tom joined Bartons in June 2023 having completed a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law at University of Sussex and began as a Legal Assistant.

After two years at the firm, he began a Solicitor Apprenticeship in August 2025.

Examples of Tom’s recent work includes:

• Advising clients on breach of contract claims.
• Advising clients on commercial and residential Landlord and Tenant disputes.
• Advising clients wishing to recover possession of their properties due to a tenant’s breach of a tenancy.
• Advising clients wishing to recover possession of their properties using ‘no-fault eviction’ route.
• Advising commercial clients on Section 25 Notices.
