Nicola Kovacic

In 1997, Nicola joined Bartons’ Conveyancing team, then based at the firm’s Salcombe office. She quickly progressed to assisting the Head of Conveyancing, before qualifying as a Legal Executive in 2006. In that role, she acted for high-net-worth clients purchasing investment properties in London, while also dealing with local conveyancing matters including new developments and re-mortgages. She later broadened her expertise by moving to Bartons’ Family Department, where she supports Louise Macmillan and Ella Lane on a wide range of matters, including divorce, financial settlements within divorce proceedings, private law child arrangements, and cohabitation matters.

Nicola works closely with local barristers’ chambers and other experts to ensure cases progress efficiently. She also maintains regular communication with clients, providing frequent updates and clear, practical advice throughout the course of their matter.
