Stephanie Spencer

Stephanie joined Bartons in July 2024, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in terms of Property and General Civil Litigation matters. Stephanie has 11 years of litigation experience, comprised of time in both a large national law firm and a local South Devon firm, giving her experience in a wide range of disputes, as well as knowledge of the local area and its specific challenges.

Stephanie has a particular interest in Property Litigation, including Landlord and Tenant disputes, however has experience in and is happy to be instructed in the following matters:

  • Boundary Disputes, including Applications for Determined Boundaries;
  • Party Wall matters;
  • Issues relating to Covenants and/or Easements (both express and prescriptive)

  • Obtaining possession of commercial and residential properties, including service of notices;
  • Disputes relating to Holiday Lets.

• TOLATA claims;
• Debt Recovery
• Contractual and Consumer Disputes, including:
  • Claims under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Supply of Goods and Services Act 1928 and Sale of Goods Act 1979;
  • Misrepresentation;
  • Claims in relation to Hire Purchase.
